Friends and Family,

Our names are Kelsey and Drake. We have been married for over 5 years and have known each other for over 10 years. We met when Drake was 15 and Kelsey was 17. We both volunteered to begin working with an international children’s ministry in our free time. We were blessed with the ability to travel the world and tell thousands of children, teenagers, and adults about Jesus! Drake’s love for Kelsey was clear and consistent from the time we met, but it took Kelsey a little bit more time to hop on board because Drake was a classic 15-year-old boy who needed to mature a wee bit. Over time, we began dating and even dated long distance through college. At the end of Drake’s junior year of college, he made the journey to Ireland to ask Kelsey to marry him. In March of 2020, we were blessed with the opportunity to be married just a week before an international pandemic! We have grown and loved each other more and more each day since.

As we traveled the world and the United States, we saw a great need across the world for adoptive parents. We are both teachers and spend a lot of time with kids who want to be loved and nurtured. We have spent much time with children, and now we would love to welcome one into our home!

We would love to thank you for your continued thoughts and prayers as we pursue adoption. We have chosen to adopt with an agency called Covenant Care and are in the process of paperwork, home visits, and more. As many of you know, adoption comes at a cost. We have learned through our experience that it takes a community to serve others well. So, we are coming to our friends and family asking most of all for your prayers, but also that you will share this link, pray, and consider aiding us financially with our adoption journey.
