Last month, I was honored as the 2025 winner of the Inspire: Celebrating Women in Healthcare award. This recognition honors the contributions to healthcare, particularly in serving our community’s most vulnerable populations.
An unhealthy mouth leads to insecurities, especially among women. As a volunteer dentist at the People’s City Mission Free Clinic, I understand the negative impact that teeth can have on a person’s self-esteem, particularly for females. There is no greater reward than giving these beautiful women their smiles back. Dr. Plate aspires to improve access to quality dental care for Lincoln’s most vulnerable.
Every dollar raised will go directly to patient care—no administrative fees, just straight to helping those in need. Right now, we have immediate opportunities to make a difference:
• One female domestic violence survivor who needs 4 root canals to restore her oral health and confidence.
• Two teenage girls ready to start braces, setting them up for brighter futures with healthy, straight smiles.
Working together, I believe we can make Lincoln a place where everyone can shine and smile brightly. Your donation, no matter the size, will transform lives and build a stronger, more compassionate community.
Thank you for your generosity and support. Let’s give these women the smiles they deserve!
With gratitude,
Farrah
