Dr. Bushra Ibnaouf Endowments

في ظل أحداث الحرب في السودان، توفي معلمنا وأبونا د. بشرى ابن عوف غدراً في صبيحة يوم 25/4/2023 إثر طعنة تلقاها أمام منزله عندما حاول عصابة من المتمردين سرقة منزله.

وإن كنت لا تعرف دكتور بشرى ابن عوف الذي لقب نفسه بعاشق للسودان فهو د. بشرى محمد ابن عوف سليمان الذي وُلد في ميريلاند الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية في 30/4/1974 . درس الطب في جامعة الخرطوم وتخرّج منها عام 1998 ثم اتجه بعدها للولايات المتحدة الأمريكية؛ ليبدأ مسيرة التخصص بتخصص الطب الباطن في نيويورك. بعدها أكمل الزمالة "fellowship" في تخصّص طب الجهاز الهضمي "gastroenterology" في جامعة Iowa ، ثم أكمل فيها الماجستير في الأبحاث الإكلينيكية.

عمل في أمريكا في ولاية كانساس كأخصائي جهاز هضمي ومناظير وبعدها في السعودية، وبعد ذلك قرر أن يعود للسودان بشكلٍ نهائي في العام 2014. وهو أحد مؤسسي الجمعية السودانية الأمريكية الطبية.

ولما قدمه د. بشرى في حياته من أعمال خيرية وعلمية تفيد كل من مر به كان لزامًا علينا أن نخلد ذكراه بعد وفاته ولذلك كانت فكرة الصدقات الجارية داخل السودان وخارجه تخليدًا لذكرى دكتور بشرى ابن عوف.

▪️الزمان : بعد اكتمال التبرعات / متوقع بعد شهرين من تاريخ جمع التبرعات

وحيث كانت وصية نبينا - صلى الله عليه وسلم - في حديث ، أنه لا ينقطع عمل ابن ادم بعد موته بثلاث هن الصدقة الجارية، والعلم المنتفع به، والولد الصالح الذي يدعو له.

فالمشاريع التي ستقام لروح شهيدنا المغفور له بإذن الله :

مشروع سقيا الماء بقرية السدر بولاية نهر النيل (ستذهب له نسبة 90% من المساهمات). -

- مبادرة عون لدعم طلاب كلية الطب بجامعة الخرطوم المعسرين والمتضررين من الحرب (ستذهب لها نسبة 10% من المساهمات).

** كما سيتبع هذين المشروعين مشاريع أخرى سيتم البدء في جمع المساهمات لها وتنفيذها متى أتيحت الفرصة :

- مشروع المساهمة في شراء مبنى لتحويله لمسجد في نيويورك بأمريكا (مسجد دار السنة)

- مشروع بكلية الطب " إعادة إعمار/ مشروع *تعليمي*"

- مشروع لمستشفى سوبا الجامعي " تأهيل وحدة ال ERCP

Funds will go to the bank account of the Sudanese American Medical Association (SAMA).

During the recent and unfortunate outbreak of war in Sudan, our teacher and father, Dr. Bushra Ibnauf, was treacherously murdered on the morning of 4/25/2023. His life was taken when a gang of rebels tried to rob his house and stabbed him in front of it. Dr. Bushra Ibnauf is the man who called himself a "lover of Sudan", His full name is Dr. Bushra Muhammad Ibnuf Suleiman He was born in Maryland, USA, on April 30, 1974.

He studied medicine at the University of Khartoum and graduated in 1998. He then went to the United States of America to begin his specialization in internal medicine in New York. He then completed his fellowship in gastroenterology at the University of Iowa and a master's degree in clinical research at the University of Iowa.

He worked in Kansas, America, as a gastroenterologist and endoscopist. He then worked in Saudi Arabia, after which he decided to return to Sudan permanently in 2014. He is a founding member of the Sudanese American Medical Association.

Dr. Bushra benefited everyone who ever crossed paths with him, from charitable work to sharing knowledge and wisdom. It is now our duty to immortalise his legacy after his passing. From there sprung the idea of founding ongoing charities both in Sudan and abroad in memory of Dr. Bushra Ibnauf. ▪️ Organised by: Dr. Bushra's students. ▪️ Under the supervision of: the University of Khartoum Medical Students' Association.

▪️ When: After the donations are completed or expected after two months from the fundraising date.

In the commandment of our Prophet, may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him, in the hadeeth about how one may gain good deeds even after death, he mentioned three ways: ongoing charity, beneficial knowledge, and a righteous child who prays for him.

The proposed projects that will be established for the soul of Dr. Bushra are:

- Aoun initiative to support medical students of UofK who are affected by the current war in Sudan (10% of donations will go for it)

- building a well for drinking water in River Nile State (90% of donations will go for it) Other projects that will be established after that are :

- A project to buy shares in a mosque in America - Project for the Faculty of Medicine: "reconstruction of/or launching an educational" –

- A project for Soba Hospital, "Rehabilitation of the ERCP"
