Funeral expenses for Jaxon

It is with heavy hearts that we share the tragic news that Jaxon has passed away after a courageous 20-month battle at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. This young warrior fought valiantly every day, and while his family hoped for a miracle, he has now gained his angel wings and can finally take a rest. I created this gofundme to help my dear friend Jessica Cesana and her family be able to bring Jaxon back to NY and give him a proper funeral surrounded by family and friends.

As anyone who has experienced loss knows, the pain of losing a child is indescribable. But what makes this even more difficult is the financial burden that comes with it. After 20 months in the hospital, Jessica and her family are now faced with the overwhelming cost of transporting Jaxon’s body back to New York for a proper funeral and burial. The cost of transportation alone is $10,000, an unimaginable expense on top of all they've already been through.

The financial strain they’ve endured over the past 20 months has been overwhelming—countless medical bills, travel expenses, and the emotional toll of constant uncertainty. Jessica hasn’t been able to work this whole time as she needed to stay by Jaxon’s side. The last thing Jessica and her family should have to worry about right now is how to give their child a proper farewell.
