Taking a Leap for Alzheimer's
Donation protected
Hi everyone,
My name is Timmy :) and I'm a TY student from Cork.
This year I'm taking on a Charity Skydive with the Irish Parachute Club to raise funds for The Alzheimer's Society of Ireland.
There are currently over 55,000 people in Ireland living with Dementia. There is an additional 4,000 diagnoses every year.
Alzheimer's disease is the most common type of Dementia. Alzheimers affects memory, thinking and behaviour.
The Alzheimer's Society of Ireland provide essential supportive services to both the people living with Alzheimer's and their families.
My own personal connection with Alzheimer's is my Nana, Margaret , who was diagnosed with Alzheimer's 3 years ago. She was and still is an amazing woman with a heart of gold and it is devastating to see the effects Alzheimer's has on her.
I want to help people with Alzheimer's and their loved ones by raising as much money as I can.
Please help me reach my goal, all donations are very much appreciated and are going towards a fantastic cause
