End of Life Expenses

Juan Pablo passed away today peacefully in his sleep amongst friends and family. If you could please donate now so that his family can rest and have time to grieve, it is much appreciated. Any donations given will go toward groceries, baby necessities like diapers and formula, household bills, and funeral expenses for Juan Pablo.

Hello, my name is Ashleigh and those of you who know us know our story. My beloved boyfriend Juan Pablo, who is only 43, was diagnosed with terminal cancer last year. Metastatic malignant Neuroendocrine tumors (a type of thyroid cancer) were found in his liver and pancreas. Combined with complications like liver cirrhosis, his liver has begun to fail.

Juan Pablo is currently home on hospice. He requires constant care, as he is too weak to move himself, feed himself, or use the bathroom. He has to be moved in the bed regularly to avoid bed sores, he already has one despite our efforts. He can’t even lift a glass of water. As such I haven’t been able to return to work. We can’t afford to hire nursing aid that can be here while I work. Hospice is working with us to find a nursing solution so I can work a few shifts, but the truth is too I want to be here with him and our daughter, who is only 21 months old, for his final few days.

If you can help with anything, even $5, that will help us immensely. At this point we are unable to meet our bills for the month of November, and I’m working to get signed up for government aid for food and such, but that takes time as well. Any help is appreciated and will go toward groceries, baby necessities like diapers and formula, household bills, and end of life care for Juan Pablo.
