DP Residents Covid-19 Support Retreat

Donation protected
ADPI  is a grassroot campaign that support asylum seekers living in direct provision in Ireland.

During the Covid-19 lockdown many asylum seekers were left in overcrowded direct provision centres with some sharing room with 5 persons, poor quality of food daily and lack of PPE essentials to protect them against the spread of Covid-19. As a result we have over 171 cases of Covid-19 in around about 20 DP Centres.

We are hoping to organise this weekend retreat for a number of asylum seekers that were infected with covid-19 at various centres and provide a platform to help with their mental health and depressive state by living in double isolation during this time.

The Retreat will be 2 days in August  and we need your help with the following budget.

Accommodation &  Venue-1,500.00
Transportation-2,000.00
Meals-1,500
T-Shirts-1,000
Welcome Packs (Vitamins/Baby Food/Cleaning Materials/30 Euros Voucher)-2,000

Please email us at [email redacted] if you would like to volunteer or have questions about the campaign
