Down Syndrome Clare - tour de Munster cycle 2024
Donation protected
Hello everyone,
This is Reuben. He is 8 and has Down Syndrome. He LOVES to have the craic as you can see from this photo, where he is trying to eat his porridge thru his Halloween mask :)
On August 8-11th the tour de Munster cycle is taking place, an epic cycling event that sees over 100 cyclists pedal 600km over 4 days. The tour raises much needed funds for the Munster branches of Down Syndrome Ireland.
Children with Down Syndrome need help with things that many of us take for granted (like learning to walk & talk!). Down Syndrome Ireland subsidizes speech therapy, horse riding, swimming, and occupational therapy, among other things. They help adults with literacy, and to find meaningful work.
However, they cannot do all this work without fundraising and this cycle is the biggest branch fundraiser of the year.
All donations, no matter how small, are very gratefully received. Thank you all so much ❤️
