Dowling Zamboni

Hello fellow Onaping Fall Citizens.

We the volunteers of the Dowling out door rink are starting this fund raiser for the Dowling Zamboni.....let's call it the Boner for short. For those of you who are unfamiliar with our local Boner its a 1967 Volkswagen that was donated by the city when the local arena was closed down in the early 90s. It provided our local outdoor rink a clean sheet of ice for over 30 Years. Many volunteers have donated their time and energy to either wrench or drive this marvelous machine. But it seems like this old Boners time is up. There's only so much Cialas a Boner can take before you gotta move on and find a new, better Boner. Our goal is to fundraise enough money so we can purchase a newer Boner with more spunk and Jam so our poor mechanical volunteers dont have to wrench on this old one every other night.

Let's give the kids a fresh sheet of ice for more years to come.

All donation are going into our new Desjardins D.N.A. bank account. We do realize that Zambonis are hard to come by and this will not happen overnight but it's a start. This money will also help us maintain and repair our current Zamboni if required. Thank you.
