Hi everyone, this fundraiser is in place to help cover the financial stress that has come with Doug’s sudden passing. He spent his entire life in service of others from his career as a police officer, to serving in the Air Force, and running Dekalb County’s 911 call center. Doug was passionate about being a mentor to youth and a friend to everyone. Anybody in his presence knew what it felt like to be loved and protected. His sudden passing has shaken everyone who knew him and left his wife and son without a husband and father. The financial burden of his passing is the last thing they should have to worry about. If possible, any amount that could be contributed will be greatly appreciated. The money will go towards Doug’s memorial service and his son Xavier’s college fund. We have to take care of each other through this difficult time and try to hold on the positive memories, he was a light in this world❤️
