Dougie needs another surgery!

Our dear Dougie needs another surgery. Some may remember that Dougie required an ear canal ablation surgery in 2021 due to recurring ear infections causing irreparable damage to his ear drum. With your help, we were able to provide this surgery and improve Dougie's quality of life. He has not had a painful ear infection since!

Now Dougie needs our help again. Over the past couple of months, Dougie has had trouble breathing due to congestion in his nose. He was treated with 2 rounds of antibiotics, but Dougie continued to have trouble breathing, especially while sleeping when he snores very loudly. Dougie had an appointment with an ENT specialist veterinarian on 1/9/2023. Dougie has a polyp (possibly more than one) in the back of his throat that is causing difficulty breathing and affecting his ability to swallow properly. The procedure Dougie needs is a rhinoscopy, in which a scope is used to inspect the nasal passages and throat area. Any polyps found will be removed and tissue samples are taken for testing. The estimated cost of this procedure is $2700-2900. Can you help us provide Dougie with this procedure which will greatly improve his quality of life?
