I'm reaching out for help for my friend DezaRay. She's in her 40s & was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. She's spent time talking to her doctors and has opted for a double-mastectomy. Her recovery time will be extended because she's lacking chest skin & will need to have breast expanders for some time, which will delay her recovery process.

I met DezaRay in support groups for TRAs (Transracial Adoptees.) As an Adoptee, it's often really difficult for us (for many reasons) but one of the most challenging things we face is the lack of any medical history. DezaRay sadly doesn't have any family connections (her young adult son is in another state & not able to help financially) and due to moving to a new area several months ago, hasn't yet built up a community of support/friends or steady employment.
