Double the Miles, Double the Impact: For Community Harvest
Tax deductible
I'm just a man. I am not anyone special. There are no monuments to me beyond the people I care about and the lives I can help.
There are families in need of food help. Rather than complain about our government like so many others, I am trying to raise money for Community Harvest Food Bank. This organization helps thousands of families and churches who help scores more with the most essential things they need: food and necessities.
In 2020, in the midst of a pandemic, I raised $250 for Community Harvest. I did this by running a mile for every $10 donated. This time, I pledge to run a mile for every $5 donated. That is the minimum donation. That is double what I ran last summer.
I don't have a team; I have only myself. I have to buy my own shoes and running gear, but there are families in need who can't even buy food. That is my sole reason for this endeavor. Please help me by helping these families get what they need for their loved ones and their children.
Share this with anyone who might spare even $5. Any amount is appreciated. My goal is to raise at least $500. That is 100 miles I will RUN. And I promise this: any amount raised over $500, I will run a mile for every dollar over that amount. You have my word.
Thank you for your support, and I thank you from my heart.
Any help in spreading this message is appreciated.
