Marathon for Double the Cause: A Journey of Strength and Remembrance
Five years ago, I completed my first-ever marathon row in 3 hours and 31 minutes, raising funds for The Freddie Pring Memorial Fund—created in honor of my son Freddie, whose life was tragically cut short.
That challenge was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done, both mentally and physically, but it was a journey that not only pushed my limits but also helped keep Freddie’s memory alive and raise awareness of The Freddie Pring Memorial Fund.
Now, five years later, I’m taking on another monumental challenge, this time to honor not one, but two young lives lost too soon. Alongside Freddie, I’ll be remembering Sasha Harris, whose life was also tragically taken. In their memory, I’ve decided to push myself even further.
Funds raised will be split equally to Papyrus , Young Suicide Prevention and The Freddie Pring Memorial Fund - Sports Coaching & Personal Development.
Both funds have deep routed pain and connections deep in my heart.
This year, I’m setting out to complete a marathon in a new format: a 5k row, 10k run and 27k Bike,
The new date will be released shortly.
