My name is Sandy Maves and I am posting this on behalf of my brother-in-law, Lind Maves. Lind had a double lung transplant in July. Due to multiple life altering complications after the surgery, he will be in the hospital for several months and then require intensive inpatient rehab for several weeks or even months after his hospital stay. Even when he has completed inpatient rehab, he will still require a lot of care and outpatient rehab to teach him how to live with the aftermath of the complications. He needs his family now more than ever. He has 4 children and a lot of grandchildren that need him. He also has 4 siblings and their families who are trying hard to help him during this long recovery.
He's currently in intensive care and will need months of rehab after that. Our family has been traveling to support him, but the costs are adding up quickly. His kids live anywhere from 2 to 7 hours from the hospital. The rest of our family lives 3 to 4 hours away. We're asking for any help you can give to lighten the load. Every little bit counts, and your support means the world to us. Please like, comment, and share this post to spread the word so we can reach more people who might be willing to help. Any help we can receive to defray some of the expenses we will be appreciated more than you would ever know. Thank you for being there for us during this challenging time!
