Since our founding in December 2016 we have grown from a handful of volunteers to a community of over 1500 activists working to protect, defend, and further progressive values and stand up for democracy and equality in our community and beyond. We are all volunteers. We do what we do because, "If not us, who? And if now now, when?" But we still need money to pay for meeting space, cover event-related expenses such as printing, signage, audio-visual support and promotion, and general operating expenses such as email and website and email hosting fees, printing and mailing, training, licenses, and fees. No money raised through this campaign is used to support individual candidates for political office, but we do invest some funds in our voter contact and outreach efforts. As we approach our second anniversary, we have much to be proud of and grateful for, including every one of you who has chipped in to help us continue to do this important work.
