On Sunday, August 18th, Jeff was seriously injured by the family dog. The trauma resulted in multiple brain hemorrhages and the loss of his left eye.  Jeff underwent enucleation surgery on Wednesday, August 21st and was able to return home on Saturday, August 24th to begin his 2 - 3month recovery process.  Once he has fully healed he will have another surgery for an ocular prosthesis.  As you can imagine, the medical bills for this accident will not be a small cost and anything we can do to help the family out in their time of need is greatly appreciated.

Jeff is an active member of both the Island Lake and Wauconda communities. He is president of Bulldog Youth Sports and has coached baseball, lacrosse, and football for the last 10 years.
