Dorchester Eagles: Building Futures Together
Donation protected
On April 21st I will be running the Boston Marathon in support of the Dorchester Elite Eagles. It's an honor to have the opportunity play a small role in a program that impacts the lives of so many young people in the greater Boston area.
The Dorchester Elite Eagles are a distinguished non-profit youth football and cheerleading organization catering to children aged 5 to 15. One of New England's most successful programs, they have achieved 19 divisional championships and, notably, secured their first national title in 2023.
In December 2023, the Eagles' 14U team made history by winning the Pop Warner National Championship in Orlando, Florida, defeating the Darby Monarchs from Pennsylvania with a commanding 20-0 victory. The win marked the first time a Boston team clinched a Pop Warner national title.
Following this success, in April 2024, the Dorchester Elite Eagles transitioned from Pop Warner to the American Youth Football (AYF) league. This move aimed to provide enhanced competition and growth opportunities for their football and cheer programs. The team joined the Blackstone Valley Youth Football and Cheerleading Conference within AYF's New England region, which includes teams from several northeastern states.
Throughout their history, the Eagles have been committed to fostering athletic excellence and personal development among youth in their community. Their recent achievements underscore their dedication to nurturing talent and promoting sportsmanship.
By raising money for the Dorchester Elite Eagles, we’re not just funding a football team. We’re investing in futures, in confidence, in a community that refuses to let any child be left behind. Every dollar raised is a promise that no matter where these kids come from, they will always have a chance to be apart of something greater than themselves.
