Don't Urbanise Hamsey

Please donate to our campaign to stop the potential development of 1,100 dwellings on cherished greenfield land in the heart of Hamsey Parish, on the very edge of the South Downs National Park.

This huge development would be devastating, would completely overwhelm the local communities of Cooksbridge and Hamsey, and would destroy this stunning landscape and rural setting for ever. It would also massively affect residents of surrounding areas, particularly Lewes, Offham, Barcombe, East Chiltington, Chailey, and Newick.

We are raising funds to fight this proposal and we would welcome your help and support. Funds raised will be used to build publicity and to commission professional advice.
