Help Save the World’s Largest Skatepark Map

Six years ago, I started TrucksandFins as a simple DIY project: map every skatepark in the world and make it freely available to everyone.

Today, it has grown into the world’s largest skatepark map, with more than 28,100 skateparks documented around the world and a community that keeps helping us discover and document more.

But the truth is, I’ve reached the point where I can’t keep funding it alone. I’ve spent all of my savings on TrucksandFins. I’ve even moved into a trailer to cut my living costs, and honestly, I’m now struggling to pay the bills.

So I’m faced with a pretty simple choice: save this project, or find a job again and let TrucksandFins slowly fade away.

And after six years, meeting thousands of people, documenting tens of thousands of parks and building something that skaters around the world actually use, I think it would be a real shame to let it disappear.

That’s why I’m asking for your help to save TrucksandFins and build Version 3 — a better platform with a sustainable business model built into it from the start.

The map will remain free for everyone.

My goal is to build a sustainable future for TrucksandFins, with optional services and features that can help fund its development without putting the map behind a paywall. I want to keep the core project accessible to everyone, while making it possible for it to grow and continue serving the global skatepark community for years to come.
