Donna's Urgent Need...Lost ALL to Home FIRE
Friends, Family, Community... PLEASE HELP. Early on the morning of March 15th, there were lightning and thunder storms in the Morris Chapel area of TN. Such was the situation with one of my closest friends, Donna Garrison. Her trailer was hit with lightning at approximately 3 a.m. She got out through the back door before it was completely engulfed in flames. She lost EVERYTHING. She is partially disabled and lost her walker, cane, blood pressure and diabetic needs. Her keys to her car were also in the home. Her vehicle miraculiously survived the fire. Only rear lights, side panels, bumper, 2 tires and wiring took damage from the intense heat. She left with only her glasses and phone, wearing only a nightie before being taken via ambulance to Magnolia Regional in Corinth. She was treated for minimal scratches and bruising, and smoke inhalation. NO BURNS. She was released Tuesday morning. We thank God for keeping her safe and the Holy Spirit waking her up.
Red Cross was only able to give minimal help. No vouchers for a hotel. She needs enough funds to stay in a hotel until she can be situated in a place to live.
Donna lost her husband to cancer 5 years ago and her Momma to cancer 2 years ago and now lives on a fixed income. She really need your help to get back on her feet.
"Baby" momma cat and 3 kittens did not get out. And her 2 dogs in an outside kennel are ok. They were placed in a dog shelter.
Any and all funds collected will be to replace her medical needs, clothing, trailer, vehicle and belongings.
Thank you all for your kindness and consideration ❤️
