Donkeysaddle Projects Core Team Crowdfunder!
Donation protected
Donkeysaddle Projects has morphed and grown!
What began in 2009 as an umbrella for the work of writer, filmmaker and activist Jen Marlowe, has evolved into a vibrant organization with a core belief in the vital role of art/storytelling in communal political education and movement building. We have continued to work with those most impacted by injustice, both in the U.S. and globally, creating new partnerships, launching new projects, and discovering multiple opportunities to provide support.
As our work expanded, our team needed to grow as well. We now have six core team members: Jen Marlowe, Brittany King, Heather Holmes, Cherrell Brown, Gabriella Haddad, and Taylor Lamb.
We've also been refining the way we tell our story. Today, we’re excited to share our fresh, new website that demonstrates who we are, what we’ve done, what we're currently doing, and where we intend to grow.
This is a really exciting time for Donkeysaddle Projects. The addition of our new team members means more ideas, more communities of connection, and more capacity. We are involved in multiple expansive projects that will be used as organizing tools and political education.
The more we grow, the more resources we need.
That's why the DSP core team is launching our first-ever Core Team Crowdfunding Campaign! We need to raise $20,000 by March 16!
Will you help us reach that goal? Your donation will support our newly expanded team as we deepen our work on projects including I Am Troy Davis, Yo Te Esperaba, increase our reach with the Palestine Grassroots Distribution Project, and embark on new undertakings in 2022. You can contribute to our Core Team Fundraiser here!
Thank you for supporting our team, our work--and our shared commitment to liberation and justice!
In solidarity and with gratitude,
Bk, Cherrell, Gabriella, Heather, Jen & Taylor
