More information about CLIONA'S FOUNDATION COMPANY LIMITED BY GUARANTEE: Cliona's provides financial support nationwide to families of seriously sick children to help with the non medical "hidden costs" of caring for their child & enabling them to be by their bedside. These costs can include but are not limited to accommodation, travel, car parking, food, specialist equipment, childcare etc. It is estimated that it costs an additional 10,000 p.a to care for a sick child and for many of these families one of the parents has to leave work so now operating on a reduced income.

As part of Transition Year, for, pupils in Colaiste Pobail Naomh Mhuire Buttevant, several students are picked to do the Camino in Spain. It is a pilgrimage that leads to the cathedral in Santiago. There are 6 pupils who are partaking in the pilgrimage this year, and, we will be walking from Sierra to San Tiago, over the course of 6 days, which, is about 100km. We each will be raising €1,000, for, the Clionas foundation, and, hope that you would be willing to donate. The Clionas Foundation, is a spectacular charity, which, helps so many families, with, sick children, each year.
