Hi everyone, my name is Zara Sarraf and I am a humanitarian journalist who has spent the past year on the ground in Egypt supporting displaced families from Gaza. Last year, the $3,000 we raised helped fund one community event and provided 300 food parcels. I’m now relaunching this fundraiser to collect more donations for my third mission in Egypt.

I am now preparing to return for my third mission, and this time I’m focusing on three key humanitarian projects that I will be working on over the next 2–3 months:

1️⃣ Displaced Children’s School Support:

I work closely with a school that provides education for Grade 1–5 children who have been displaced from Gaza. To support teachers, school supplies, events, toys, supplies, meals, and essential needs for these students, I am aiming to raise: ➡️ $6,000 USD

2️⃣ Food & Hygiene Parcel Distribution that will support the Sudanese and Palestinian communities:

Every month, I help provide essential food and hygiene kits to families in need. Each distribution supports 100 families, and costs: ➡️ $2,000 USD per month

3️⃣ Humanitarian Aid Truck to Gaza:

In partnership with a trusted charity that already has access to border delivery routes, I will be raising funds to help fund portion of a truck filled with critical aid into Gaza. ➡️ Goal: $30,000 USD

Additionally, I am aiming to raise $1,000 USD to provide food and hygiene parcels to 100 Sudanese refugees currently displaced in Egypt.

My Goal is to continue to raise funds to be able to help on a monthly base.

I personally oversee every project and distribution, and I will be documenting and sharing updates throughout the mission so my community can see exactly where their contributions are going and the impact they are making directly on the ground.
