Rose "Ann Marie" Dussault (Platt),
The following was beautifully written by her grandson, Ryan Stilson,
My Grandma, Rose "Ann Marie" Dussault(Platt) passed away unexpectedly and we are completely heartbroken.
She was a Cake Decorator for 50+ years - creating god who knows how many amazing memories for so many people...I used to go to work with her at the Treat Box Bakery while my mom cut hair, and eventually fell in love with baking myself.
She volunteered handing out food and commodities for years, worked as a dietician at the local Hospital, and even worked transporting people in need for the county into her 70s-80s.
She Was a die hard Red Sox fan from Maine, she loved her lobster rolls, lighthouses, and her Fluffer nutters(the best sandwich ever PB and Marshmallow fluff). Every time she came over she'd say, did the Red Sox Win? Are they playing?"
She was an amazing at fishing, she loved camping and was an expert at gardening. Her favorite thing in the world next to taking beautiful photos, was feeding and watching her hummingbirds. She was an expert and Award winning quilt maker, an amazing seamstress, and there was nothing she couldn't make or fix. You think you're lucky? Imagine having a grandma that can make you any desert you want for any special occasion and have it be amazing every time.
She was hilarious, and also one of the smartest and strongest woman I will ever meet in my life, she always took care of everyone. Even though I only grew up with 1 grandma, it Felt like I had 10.
Everyone loved her immensely and she is going to leave a big hole in a lot of people's lives. I love you and will miss you forever gaga. Any thoughts, love, stories or pictures would help a lot.
We are humbly asking for donations to help with her medical expenses and final arrangements. We know that times are really tough right now, and we understand and appreciate any help you may be able to offer. If you're unable to donate financially, would you please consider sharing this on your social media accounts. Again, our deepest appreciation during this extremely difficult and sad time.
