Hello, all sponsoring group members. My name is Haben Berhane. I am raising this fund to support sponsorship of refugees via the Welcome Corps program. Yared and his family are living in Egypt, Cairo as refugees. The purpose of this fund is to sponsor Yared and his family covering their expenses during their first 3 months stay in the United States. As per the program's requirement, we will be raising $8500 in total for now. This means each of our group members is expected to donate $1700 in order to start the sponsorship. Once the fund is collected entirely, Beneficiary's brother, Medhanie Gebru, will be transferring the fund to his bank account. Then, the fund will be allocated up on the beneficiary's needs accordingly. In case if the sponsorship program doesn't go successful, the fund will also be transferred to Medhanie's bank account.
