Donation to help children’s of alcoholics
Do you want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money in aid of Nacoa (National Association for Children of Alcoholics) and every donation will help. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me. The charity was founded in 1990 to address the needs of children growing up in families where one or both parents suffer from alcoholism or a similar addictive problem. This includes children of all ages, many of whose problems only become apparent in adulthood. Now you know little about the charity im raising money for, I would just like to add a brief story of my personal reasons for the fund raising, I’m personally a child of alcoholics along with my 5 siblings, unfortunately my mum passed when I was 16 from the disease my father is still here and suffering with alcoholism, through out my teens and 20s I had a very volatile relationship with alcohol in a result of this my mental health has suffered, but thankfully 10 months ago I made the final decision to give up alcohol for good !!!! The main reason, my two beautiful children with a strong mentality of not wanting to continue the alcoholism cycle I had suffered ! On the 2nd of June 2023 I will be marking my 1st year of sobriety, six of my supportive girlfriends will be joining me on our 7 hour trek up the Snowdonia mountain we hope to raise as much money as possible! Thanks again Regards Meghan !
