I have decided in my welshbacc class for my active citizen task to raise awareness for health and wellbeing number 3 of the global goals. To do this task i have decided to do a sponsored walk and donate money to the welsh air ambulance. The reason i have decided to donate to them is because quite a few years ago my uncle passed away after collapsing down at the mill pond in my home town and the first people to get to help him was them. I also want to raise awareness too, that people may seem healthy just like my uncle but can still have things happen to them. I will be doing the walk to encourage healthy exercise to others but to take time to do so, approximately 27 people die in wales per day via an unexpected heart attack. As wales is such a rural area i think its important to raise more money and awareness for this amazing charity that is struggling. They need our help to help others. I am not asking for much just a bit of your time to care. Walk day will be sunday 9th of november.
