Nikki’s Hair Donation to the Little Princess Trust

On the 13 June 2018 I was diagnosed with breast cancer.

It came from nowhere. I had no symptoms - no pain no lumps. I had gone in for a review from pain under my right arm and they discovered two  lesions deep within my left breast. Even when the shadow showed up on the mammogram there wasn’t massive concern, however I pushed  as I felt something wasn’t right. Within 3 hours that day my entire life was turned upside down . Fast forward through two surgeries and radiotherapy I was told I was cancer free in December 2018 however I would have to take a cocktail of drugs for the next 5 years .

As most of you know I lost my precious Mom aged just 50 to colon cancer whilst pregnant with Harry my first son. WhenI was diagnosed I was paralysed with fear that my boys would go through what my Dad brother and I had seen when we lost Mommy and  I spent most of 2019 pretty convinced I would die at 50. It has been so hard and it’s still there in the back of my mind. I choose to be well and live everyday to the full!

I love my hair and it will be hard however I have so much to be thankful for and this is something that I can do to really give back &show gratitude.

On Tuesday 14 April (this has had to be postponed due to COVID) I will be cutting my hair and donating it to the https://www.littleprincesses.org.uk/ With the hope of my hair being made into a wig or wigs for little ones who are fighting this vile disease.
All monies raised will also be donated to this amazing cause.

Thank you for your support x

ps. I will film the cutting live and post it here x
