Summer Drive to End Hunger

Since I was six, I have donated a total of 1,100 pounds of food to local food pantries. I am 900 pounds away from donating one ton of food, and I have found out that on average, I donate around a pound per dollar, so my goal is to raise a minimum of $900, but hopefully more so I can do more good along the way.
UPDATE: We hit our goal in less than 24 hours! As a stretch goal, I'm trying to raise $2900, as it would raise my total food pantry contributions to 2 TONS!
In order to make the most of the donations, my dad and I will drive from Oregon to North Carolina starting in early August, and we aim to donate to at least 10 cities along the way. This is also my first cross-country road trip, and it's a big learning experience, so I want to do the most good I can on the way.
