Hello & thank you for considering donating to the “Blankets for Bihar” fundraiser!

Blankets for Bihar is dedicated to helping raise funds for winter clothing and blankets for the people of the village of Dighiar in the state of Bihar in Northern India.

Dighiar is a small and humble village far away from the pleasures and privileges of the 1st world, with many houses being built in the traditional way of clay and rock, not having any heating or electricity. Winter clothing and blankets are essential in helping keep families warm through the colder part of the year.

Efforts are being driven with our boots on the ground by Kashif, a 25-year-old Indian who calls this village home. I met Kashif on my travels in India and bonded with him because of his compassion and dedication to helping others.
