As the Boys Varsity Soccer team at Lincoln High School in Wisconsin Rapids, our senior class has put together a community project this year. They chose to help raise awareness about homelessness and domestic abuse by partnering with the Wisconsin Rapids Family Center.

To support this cause, the players are going door-to-door and have also created this GoFundMe page to collect donations (cash, checks, etc.). All proceeds will go directly to the Family Center, which will determine how best to use the funds.

In addition, to further highlight their cause, the team has designed a purple alternate kit for this season. On October 2nd, they will host a conference game against Marshfield, during which the entire team will wear the kit, and a check will be presented to the Family Center at halftime.
