Hello Family, Friends, and Supporters, it’s time for us to join together for a greater cause; WE FEED THE BLOCK. Led by our founders: Jevon Dewand, Attorney Griggs, & Sebastiana Laremont and Community Organizers: Scotty Smart, Kiandria Demone, and Monisha J. Brown We are going back to the block — to our neighborhoods, our people, our roots — to uplift and support our communities up close and personal. This is where it all starts. We Feed The Block Inc. is on a mission to fight food insecurity and ensure families have the essentials they need — from groceries and hygiene products to clothing, blankets, encouragement, and hope. We are here to unwrap smiles and remind our people that no matter what they are going through, somebody still cares. Our slogan, and the foundation we live by, is: “If serving is beneath you, leadership is beyond you.” Our goal is to restore unity, dignity, and opportunity within neighborhoods, one block at a time. Our organization is currently in the process of establishing 501(c)(3) nonprofit status, but the work has already begun, and we are moving with purpose.

This December, We Feed The Block is on a mission to warm 400 homeless neighbors across our city. The temperatures are dropping fast, and too many people are sleeping outside without the basic items needed to stay warm.

We’re raising funds to purchase and distribute blankets, gloves, beanies, socks, and hand warmers — simple items that make a real difference on cold nights. Our goal is straightforward: show up with warmth, dignity, and care.
