Hi, my name is Ainsley and I am creating this fundraiser on behalf of my friend, Ssebuma Alex, who runs the Vision For Hope Orphanage in Uganda.

Ssebuma works as a painter to provide for all of his kids, but unfortunately his sole income is not enough, and he is asking all of us for support. He started his orphanage in 2018 with just 2 kids, but now is currently housing and taking care of 13 children. These kids ages range from as young as 4 years old up to 13 years old. Ronald, Rhinna, Patrick, Rihanna, Maria, Eddy, Paul, Namugera, Martin, Mercy, Rachel, Sofie, and Samuel are the names of all of the kids that Ssebuma loves and cares for at his Orphanage.

Unfortunately, Ssebuma has frequent issues with his landlord, making it a priority to get them the funds to build their own home. In preparation for this, Ssebuma has created a sketch plan for how the house will look and has set a goal for $20,000. In the long run, this home will be much cheaper than paying large sums for his rent that is too difficult to afford.

On top of the amount for the house, we are also trying to raise an additional $5,000 to cover other expenses. He will need the funds to cover rent until they are able to get their own home. I also want to make sure that he has funds to cover other things such as unexpected medical expenses or more food/supplies.

Anything at all that you can spare for The Vision For Hope Orphanage is so greatly appreciated and needed. Ssebuma is an incredible man, who is doing amazing work and he truly deserves all of the support. Even if you just have 5 or 10 dollars to spare, it adds up, and they are so grateful.
