As many of you know, I’m not someone who ever asks for help. I’ve always been humble and tried to take care of everything for myself and my family. But right now, I’m asking for a favor from all of my family and friends.
My son Tyler was found in the road by his truck near my house on the morning of November 30th at 4 a.m. We still don’t know exactly what happened. He suffered a 19 cm laceration to his liver and was rushed into emergency surgery at ORMC. He also has nine broken ribs, a collapsed lung, and severe facial fractures. He will need reconstructive surgery, will have his jaw wired shut for 4–6 weeks, and currently has a tracheotomy and feeding tube. He is scheduled for a second surgery tomorrow and remains in the trauma ICU. This was the result of an incident with his vehicle, NOBODY did this to him, any tips being called in are fraudulent!
Doctors expect he will be in the hospital for about two weeks and will need rehab afterward. As many of you know, he had just moved in with his grandmother to help take care of her, and he works as a welder. We don’t know how long he will be out of work.
This has been one of the scariest times of my life—for me, his mother, his siblings, and our entire family. We appreciate all the love, prayers, and support more than you know.
Just wanted to update everyone on Tyler’s progress, he was doing pretty good with his recovery, he had the screws removed from his jaw on the 16th, his foot is starting to heal, he had a bad bile leak that wouldn’t stop draining from one of his drain holes, they admitted him on the 19th and he had to undergo surgery to put 3 stents in to route the leak into his intestine, he has another procedure on the 23rd to remove any excess bile, it has made him vomit and feel pretty sick, praying for the best, he has a lot of out of pocket expenses for outpatient as well as all his bills he’s trying to keep in line, hopefully he can be back to working full time in a month or so! Please share, if you e donated previously our family thanks you from the bottom of our hearts! ❤️
