My name is Tim Cain, and I am currently a Life Scout with Westmont Troop 6. I have everything completed to qualify for the rank of Eagle Scout, with my final requirement being my Eagle Scout project.

For my project, I have chosen to work with the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County, who is in need of new picnic tables to be placed at one of the forest preserves in our area. These tables have galvanized steel legs with heavy wooden benches and tops, and they are quite costly. My goal is to raise $1,000, which will pay for the lumber, the legs and fasteners, the paint, and the painting supplies.

I'm excited to contribute to the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County, who has provided me with endless hours of outdoor experiences since I was a small child!
