Hi, my name is Cindy. We are starting this Wildfire Relief fund for a family member.
There isn't a time in our lives when we haven't asked someone for help. It is difficult, yes. So many have lost so much in these devastating wildfires. One of these is my brother Ken Flores. He lived in Altadena 37 years, when he bought his first home at age 25. The Eaton Canyon Wildfire began raging Tuesday. Like so many, he believed he would be returning to his home. When he received the evacuation notice at 3AM, his neighbors left, but he stayed to fight falling embers, until 5AM when he realized he could no longer stay and fight.
Ken's home is gone, along with everything in and outside the property. It certainly is challenging, as he's begun contacting insurance, FEMA, utilities and so many other agencies. He is devastated by the numerous irreplaceable personal items that he held dear to his heart.
We can help support Ken with donations to this GoFundMe page. Any amount will go a long way as he begins to move forward.
We are beyond grateful to our Lord and Savior that we have him to hug. We will be forever appreciative for your caring and generosity. May that kindness return to you in abundance.
