Hi, I’m Luke, the founder of Project Unite Humanity, an international political networking organisation based in the UK.

I’m raising funds to support the Gaza Skate Team, a skateboarding community founded by Rajab Al-Reefi in Gaza City. The team supports young people in Gaza through skateboarding and has previously built ramps and provided skateboarding activities for children and young people. (@GAZA_SKATE_TEAM)

The reality for children in Gaza is incredibly difficult. Opportunities to simply play, socialise and experience moments of normal childhood are extremely limited. For the young people involved with Gaza Skate Team, skateboarding provides a sense of community, freedom and happiness during extraordinarily difficult circumstances.

The funds raised will be used to support the team in rebuilding and developing a skate space in Gaza, including the materials and costs required for the project. The Gaza Skate Team has previously stated its ambition to develop a dedicated skatepark for girls. (GAZA SKATE TEAM)

I will be transferring the funds to Rajab Al-Reefi via his chosen method. Before any funds are transferred, I will confirm the appropriate recipient and the route by which the money can be used for the intended project.

This fundraiser will be completely transparent, and I will provide updates on how the funds are being transferred and used as the project develops.

Even a small donation can help create a safe space where children and young people can skate, connect, have fun and experience a little bit of normality.

Please donate if you can, and if you can’t, sharing the fundraiser would mean just as much. ❤️
