The workers at City Feed and Supply in Jamaica Plain have filed to form a union with the NLRB, after not receiving voluntary recognition from management.
City Feed Unite is fundraising for:
- creating banners, T shirts, brochures, posters and other ways to get the word out to our coworkers and rally community support
- support for meals and room fees for organizing meetings
- other event planning necessities
- contingency funds in the case of retaliation against organizers
If, in 6 months or so we do not use these funds, we pledge to donate the remaining funds to a local community organization that helps low income folks in our neighborhood - with things like access to housing, harm reduction, food security etc.
