Hello!

We’re thrilled to introduce ourselves! We’re aviation students at San Jose State University who attend Nobi’s AVIA 2 lectures, and as enthusiastic aspiring professional pilots, we’re excited to show our support for the incredible team at the Reid-Hill View tower.

Under the mentorship of CFI Nobi, who provides flight instruction at Reid-Hillview Airport (KRHV) and also teaches at San Jose State University, we want to celebrate the outstanding KRHV Tower staff. These dedicated professionals work tirelessly every day to keep us safe and guide us through the skies.

The air traffic controllers are absolutely fantastic! They’re professional, patient, and encouraging with everyone, especially student pilots like us who are still learning the ropes. This holiday season, we want to give back by creating thoughtful gift baskets filled with treats, snacks, and heartfelt thank-you notes to show our gratitude.

The funds we raise will go toward:

- Healthy snacks and drinks

- Gifts (ie: Uber Eats Gift Cards) for each tower controller

- Handwritten thank-you cards from student pilots

Every contribution makes a difference! Together, we can spread holiday cheer and let the KRHV Tower team know just how much they mean to us.

Who is overseeing the withdrawal of funds: The funds will be overseen by Professor and Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) Nobi Brutin, who is the organizer of the fundraiser. She will be responsible for withdrawing the donations directly from GoFundMe.

Bank account receiving the funds: All funds will be withdrawn only into Shubkarman Kaur's verified bank account, which is linked to the GoFundMe fundraiser.

Who is responsible for managing the funds: Professor Nobi Brutin and Shubkarman Kaur along with her student pilots, will manage all of the funds. This includes planning the budget, purchasing items, organizing gift bags, and delivering everything to the KRHV Tower team.

How the funds will be used:

100% of the funds will be used to purchase:

- $50 Gift cards for each of the 15 KRHV Tower staff members

- Snacks and small treats for individual gift bags

- One shared snack basket for the entire tower

- Thank-you cards and small gift supplies (gift bags, tissue paper, ribbon)

How items will be distributed:

Each of the 15 tower employees will receive:

One gift card

A small snack bag

A handwritten thank-you note

Additionally, one large snack basket will be delivered to the tower for everyone to share.

No cash will be given to individuals. Everything will be in the form of purchased items and gift cards.

Timeline: Shopping & preparation: Within 2 days of funds being fully received. Gift bag assembly: Completed within the same day

Distribution to KRHV Tower: All items will be delivered before the holiday season, with an estimated timeline of after recieving the funds.
