Lezchic’ Needs You – Help Us Sustain Queer Community Events

People always ask me why I do these events, and the truth is simple: we need them.

Lezchic’ is more than just a party. It’s a home—a safe space where queer women can be unapologetically themselves. It’s a place where friendships are formed, love stories begin, and businesses are built. It’s a platform that connects entrepreneurs with clients, performers with audiences, and dreamers with opportunities.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of meeting the most incredible people through Lezchic’. The connections made here go beyond the music, beyond the drinks, beyond the dance floor. These events have created a community, and without this community, none of this would be possible.

But Here’s the Reality

For the past seven years, I’ve personally organized and hosted over 200 events, and I’ve done everything in my power to keep them going. But the truth is, we’re hitting a wall.

• Costs are rising—venues, marketing, entertainment, security, staffing—it all adds up.

• Our audience is evolving, and while more lesbian events are popping up (which is amazing), sustaining consistent, high-quality spaces for our community isn’t easy for one person alone.

• We need support to continue.

Why Your Help Matters

Lezchic’ isn’t just another event company—it’s one of the few consistent, diverse, and dedicated platforms for lesbian nightlife in South Florida. We host three residency events every month:

• Ladywood

• Babes & Bubbles Brunch

• Last Friday at The Well

Each event costs between $2,000–$3,000 to produce. That means our monthly expenses reach $8,000–$10,000, totaling nearly $100,000 per year to keep Lezchic’ alive.

That doesn’t even include our biggest event, Red A Fair—The LGBTQ+ Circus for Art Basel, which costs upwards of $30,000 alone!

That’s why we’re launching this GoFundMe—to raise at least $10,000 to start, with a long-term goal of covering 60% of our yearly expenses.
