My name is Csilla, and I am a single mother of five incredible children. Our journey has been filled with challenges, resilience, and hope. After enduring years of hardship, including a recent escape from an abusive marriage, we are determined to start anew and build a stable, loving home in Canada. To support my family, I have started a small business, Csilla’s Brownie Factory, but it is not yet covering our bills.

For the past fifteen years, my children and I have navigated a life of constant upheaval. We moved frequently, starting our journey in Europe and then relocating to the USA, Canada, back to the USA, and finally returning to Canada, where we hope to find stability and peace. Each move brought its own set of challenges, but also strengthened our bond and resilience.

Recently, I made the difficult but necessary decision to leave an abusive marriage. This step was crucial for the safety and well-being of my children and myself. However, it has also left us in a precarious situation. With the end of our lease fast ( End of July) approaching, we face the daunting reality of needing to find a new home. The urgency of our situation is compounded by the financial strain that comes with raising five children on my own.

We are in dire need of a stable and secure home where my children can thrive. The constant moving and instability have taken a toll on them, and they deserve a place where they can feel safe and settled. The funds we raise will go towards securing a house, ensuring we have a permanent residence and the opportunity to rebuild our lives.

To support my family, I have poured my heart and soul into creating Csilla’s Brownie Factory, a small bakery specializing in delicious, homemade brownies. While the business has received positive feedback from our community, it is not yet generating enough income to cover our essential bills and provide the stability we need. Expanding the bakery and increasing sales is a vital step towards financial independence and security for my family.

Despite the hardships, I am hopeful for the future. My children are my strength and motivation, and I am committed to providing them with a better life. A stable home is the first step towards this goal. With a secure environment, we can focus on healing, education, and building a brighter future together. Additionally, growing Csilla’s Brownie Factory will enable us to achieve financial stability and independence.
