Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted community members,
My name is Relle and I am the niece of Tony and Narelle Morris. Narelle is my dad’s baby sister. We are reaching out during one of the most difficult times our family has ever faced. On Sunday 7 September 2025, the Morris / Hart family woke up to news that would change their lives forever. Tony (Dad/Pop/Poppo/Uncle Tex, Uncle Bones) and Narelle (Mum/Nan/Aunty way, Aunty Ding) were both seriously injured and as a result, both were admitted to Hospital in critical and life-threatening situation.
Narelle was airlifted to John Hunter Hospital, Newcastle. It is with our heavy hearts and deepest condolences to the Morris / Hart family, Tony passed away on Saturday 13 September 2025.
On the same morning, Cecily, their daughter’s house was on fire where she was able to escape from the home but lost everything. Nothing left but ashes. As you can imagine this has been an incredibly emotional and challenging time for the Family.
This GoFundMe me page has been created with Rachel, Pam, Cecily, Hayley, Jackie and Anthony’s permission and is intention to support the family during this time they travel and stay with Narelle while she is still in ICU.
Money raised for The Morris family is intended to help provide financial relief so that the family can commit to taking time off work to stay nearby the Hospital and support Narelle through this tragic time and most likely be a long medical journey. Money is requested to help support the Morris Family with paying for meals, day parking at the hospital and petrol.
Narelle is a strong, determined, funny and tough women who is loved so deeply by all her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family, friends and community.
