The devastating news of Troy Ernst’s passing on Monday 2nd December 2024 in a tragic car accident has impacted many. The vehicle he was driving was struck by a truck on the New England Highway at Murulla, southeast of Quirindi in the Hunter Valley. The unimaginable loss leaves a void that can never be filled, especially for his beloved wife Renee and their family.
Troy was a highly respected and experienced employee of Aurizon, starting his career 12 years ago as a locomotive driver. Throughout this time, he demonstrated unwavering dedication, hard work, and loyalty – he was more than a colleague, he was a mate to many. A kind soul who loved his family deeply and lived life to the fullest, cooking up a storm, camping under the stars, or enjoying a cold beer or two with his little sidekick Muffin.
In this time of profound grief, we are reaching out to our networks to help ease the financial burden that comes with such tragedy. All donations will go directly to Renee to support her and her family as they navigate this incredibly difficult time.
Your donation, no matter how big or small, will make a difference. It will allow Renee to focus on healing and supporting her family without the immediate worry of financial strain.
Please join us in honouring Troy’s memory by helping his family through this heartbreaking journey. Thank you for your kindness, compassion, and generosity.
Rest in Peace Troy, you are missed by us all.
