In Bogotá, many children in vulnerable neighborhoods face pressures that can pull them away from school, from economic responsibilities at home to unsafe surroundings. This fundraiser supports efforts that help them stay connected to education and to a safe, supportive environment where they can learn, grow, and pursue their full potential.
Who We Are
We are a group of young professionals based in the U.S.—some proudly of Colombian heritage—united by a shared belief that every child deserves access to education and well-being, no matter their circumstances.
Together, we are raising $8,000 USD to help children in Bogota access the tools, resources, and opportunities they deserve.
With Your Support, We Will:
- Provide school supplies and backpacks for 225 children
- Provide physical education clothing
- Provide dental kits
- Equip the classroom with digital equipment: 2 computers and one printer
- Cover a full year’s salary for an English teacher
- Organize health brigades and family psychological therapy
For these families, even small contributions can mean the difference between a child staying in school or falling behind.

- Fundación Egipto Con Futuro: A non-profit organization that, since 2006, has been committed to helping build the life projects of children and youth in a vulnerable area of Bogotá through food and education for empowerment programs.
