This year for Veteran's Day myself and 35 of my fellow service members and veterans will be teaming up with Sleep In Heavenly Peace San Antonio division for our 3rd annual bed build to build children's beds for families in the local community. Last year we were able to build over 60 beds that were later delivered to families in need. We were also able to raise $700 to assist with the purchase of linens, materials and tools. This year we're trying to exceed those goals. Their mission is simple yet powerful: NO KID SLEEPS ON THE FLOOR IN OUR TOWN! Every child deserves a safe and comfortable place to rest, and together we can make that a reality.
