As the Executive Director of Restorative Homes, a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving marginalized individuals in Cincinnati, OH, I am reaching out with a humble request for your support. Our mission is to provide affordable, shared living spaces for individuals who are displaced due to mental health challenges and struggles with sobriety.

At Restorative Homes, we believe that every resident deserves more than just shelter — they deserve a place where they can feel safe, supported, and valued. Many of the individuals who come to us arrive with little more than the clothes on their backs. Thanks to the generosity of donors like you, we are able to offer them essential items that help them rebuild their lives with dignity and comfort.

This fall marks an exciting milestone for us: the grand opening of our second location! However, as we prepare to welcome new residents, we are in need of various items to help ensure that their new homes are as comfortable and supportive as possible. Specifically, we are seeking the following donations:

Toiletries: Shampoo, soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, etc.

Bedding: Full-size sheets, blankets, comforters, pillows.

Stationery: Notebooks, pens, folders, journals.

Recreational Equipment: Resistance bands, board games, etc.

Nonperishable Food Items: Canned goods, cases of water, etc.

Monetary Contributions: These funds will be used for necessary mechanical and cosmetic upgrades to the property, as well as for recreational outings and life-skills training programs.

Your tax-deductible donation will go directly to supporting the well-being of our residents, helping them feel seen, cared for, and empowered as they take important steps forward in their recovery journey.
