Meet 16-year-old Peter—a gentle soul with Autism who communicates through his unique presence and relies entirely on his dedicated mother, Jenny. Peter’s world is shaped by his needs, and Jenny has been his unwavering anchor.

Jenny works tirelessly across three jobs to provide for Peter, but balancing work and caregiving is a monumental challenge. During the school year, Peter benefits from special needs classes that offer much-needed respite for Jenny. In 2021 Jenny was in the ICU with Covid and did not work for the whole year of 2021. This set back drained all of her savings and put her back several months in rent.

When Jenny finally went back to work in 2022 she worked several jobs to catch up on all the bills that fell behind. Balancing three jobs and two disabled children, Jenny had worked her hardest to get back in good standings with all her bills.

We all encounter tough times and sometimes need a helping hand. Right now, Jenny and Peter are in need of ours. Your support will help cover their back rent and provide essential childcare, allowing Jenny to manage her work and continue to provide the best care for Peter.
