Donate to support Michael's Eagle Project: Community Garden

Through hard work and dedication of the local community, various vendors and municipal officials, the very first public community garden in Valley Stream has been created and recently opened to the public a month ago on May 4, 2025! This garden benefits many by offering an opportunity for individuals and families to produce and grow their own food, improve their health and contribute to a healthy environment. Fresh produce grown will also be donated to local food pantries to provide and assist others in need. Being the garden is in its very beginning stages and in need of equipment and various supplies, the support of the community and many volunteers will play an important role in helping to maintain its success which is why Michael has chosen the Community Garden as his Eagle Scout project.
