Running the Brighton Half marathon for "House of rainbow"

When life feels heavy, we all need a place where we feel safe, seen, and valued. For me, that place has been House of Rainbow. This incredible organisation has been a beacon of hope and love for queer people, especially those from African and Black communities, providing the support and sanctuary that so many of us desperately need.

I still remember when I found House of Rainbow—at a time when I was feeling lost, isolated, and in search of connection. They welcomed me with open arms, offering not just support but a community where I could embrace my identity and thrive. Their work empowers LGBTQ+ people like me to live authentically and unapologetically, and I can truly say they changed my life.

Now, it’s my turn to give back.

On Sunday, the 2nd of March , I’ll be running the Brighton Half Marathon to raise funds for House of Rainbow so they can continue their life-changing work. This isn’t just a run—it’s a celebration of resilience, of community, and of the incredible work that House of Rainbow does every day. Every mile I run is dedicated to the countless individuals they’ve supported and the many more who still need their help.

This run is personal for me. It’s not just about crossing a finish line—it’s about honouring the people who lifted me when I needed it most. It’s about ensuring that others can experience the same care, love, and support that I did. And it’s about standing up for a world where everyone has a safe space to be themselves.

But I can’t do this alone. I need your help.

Your donation, no matter how big or small, will go directly to House of Rainbow and help them continue providing vital support to those who need it most. Together, we can ensure they keep opening doors, changing lives, and creating a better, more inclusive world.

So please, join me on this journey. Let’s make every step of this half marathon count for something truly meaningful. Let’s show the world that love, acceptance, and community can triumph over anything.

Thank you for your support—it means everything to me, and to those whose lives will be transformed by your generosity.
